Questions
What people ask about PAUL.
For practices
Can patients book with my practice through AI?
Yes. With PAUL, a patient who asks their AI assistant for a visit books it in your practice's own booking window, right inside the chat. PAUL chooses the right visit with the right provider, at the time that meets demand and optimizes your revenue, and the visit lands in your EHR.
How does a patient connect to my practice?
Your practice sends the patient a link by text or email. The patient connects your practice in their own AI assistant and gives permission once. From then on they book in your practice's window, with only the questions your record cannot answer.
What does PAUL do for intake?
PAUL reads what your record already holds and asks the patient only what is missing. Answers from the patient are marked as patient-reported, and your provider gets what they need for the visit, written into your EHR before the day starts.
How does PAUL help my schedule earn more?
Every booking is the right visit type with the right provider, placed where it helps the day most. PAUL predicts how your patients, providers and schedule will behave and fills the day to that shape: double-booked where a no-show is likely, room held for same-day sick visits. It also shows which provider, location or discipline is losing revenue, and the change that fixes it.
Does PAUL follow my practice's scheduling rules?
Yes. Every option a patient sees has already been checked against your scheduling rules, so options your rules do not allow are never shown. Anything that needs a person still comes to your office.
What does my staff need to learn?
Nothing new. Patients book through the same PAUL your front desk uses, with one set of rules and one schedule, and your staff keep working where they work today.
Which practices is PAUL for?
Outpatient practices, starting with primary care.
About PAUL Health
What is PAUL Health?
PAUL Health builds PAUL, the practice's side of patient access in AI. When a patient asks an AI assistant for a visit, PAUL books it for the practice: the right visit, with the right provider, at the time that meets demand and optimizes revenue.
What does PAUL stand for?
PAUL stands for Prediction Analysis for Utilization & Learning.
Why can't an AI assistant book a visit at a practice on its own?
Acting correctly means knowing the practice: which visit a need calls for, which provider, which rules apply, what the record already says, and how the day is likely to go. That knowledge sits with the practice. PAUL learns it from each practice's own record and grades every prediction against what actually happened.
Who is building the practice's side of patient booking in AI?
PAUL Health. PAUL acts for the practice when a patient's AI assistant asks for a visit, so the booking follows the practice's rules, schedule and record.
Who founded PAUL Health, and where is it based?
PAUL Health was founded by Sarah Todd Davidson and is based in Miami, Florida. Contact: sarah@paulpredicts.com.
